Tauplitz Alm

We drove up to the Tauplitz Alm to go on a hike. It is the largest plateau in the Alps.
There are six lakes up there and we wanted to see some of them.

This is the Steirer Lake. Thomas and I wanted to go down there and to the next (last) one.

It was a very steep path down to the lake.

Thomas checked the water. It was super cold.

He found a bunch of tadpoles close to the shore.

We took a loooong hike to the Schwarzen Lake. But a storm was coming in and we had to turn around before the rain came in.

The cows didn´t mind the rain.
