This is the (bigger) lower Gosau Lake.

And this is the upper (smaller) Gosau Lake. It has a wonderful reflection.

The Gosau lakes are both glacier lakes. The hike from the lower to the upper one is 2 hours. There is a 600 ft. difference in elevation between the two. The water is drinkable.

After we came back from the long hike, we decided to take the cable car up a nearby mountain.
